Scissett Community Garden Project(SCGP)

St Augustine’s Church has loaned 1000sqm of ground on the north side of their church for the enjoyment of the local Community. There are two rustic benches for relaxing and we have planted an orchard with a wide variety of fruit trees & also redcurrants for the community to have the pleasure of picking and eating. We need volunteers to look after the orchard, paths & herbaceous borders. In addition there are three plots for tenancy to grow vegetables.
