JustGiving is a website that allows you to set up an account to receive donations. They take a small fee of 5% but they also will claim the giftaid for you so normally you’ll end up receiving more than people have donated but not quite as much as if you did it all yourself (on a £10 donation you’d make £11.74 as opposed to £12.50 if you did it all yourself). It has the advantage of capturing givers who might not otherwise give, enabling you to put a donation button on your website and taking the hassle out of collecting donations.
(JustGiving differs from Crowdfunding in that JustGiving is the website for ongoing general gifts whereas Crowdfunding is usually project based).
