Windybank Gardening Club
Windybank gardening club was started to benefit all members of the community. to help combat loneliness and isolation. We share our skills with members who are new to gardening. Our initial aim was to maintain the existing gardens and introduce more plants to attract wildlife whilst being attractive.
Little Gomersal Community Association
The Association was formed by a group of people from within the village who had the idea of organising a village fayre to bring the community together. There has been a fayre every year, upt o Covid and it resumed in 2022. As well as bringing the community together for a social event, any funds raised are used primarily to pay for a Christmas tree which every year is bought from Kirklees council and placed in the center of the village for all to enjoy.
