Red House Yorkshire Heritage Trust

Red House Yorkshire Heritage Trust

Red House Yorkshire Heritage Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation Registered Charity N. 1193941. We are working towards delivering education and heritage for the Red House site (former museum), 281 Oxford Road, Gomersal, West Yorkshire BD19 4JP. We are working with Kirklees Museums and Galleries service for the benefit of the local and wider community. The heritage covers the history of Mary Taylor and the Taylor family, connections with Charlotte Bronte and her book ‘Shirley’, Luddite history and textile manufacturing history. We hope to work on the award winning garden and bring it back to use.
