Aiming to promote community togetherness whilst improving and maintaining the conservation area, supporting to promote mental health through outdoor work.

Windybank gardening club was started to benefit all members of the community. to help combat loneliness and isolation. We share our skills with members who are new to gardening. Our initial aim was to maintain the existing gardens and introduce more plants to attract wildlife whilst being attractive.

Yetton Together is an umbrella group formed for the interest of wellbeing for the Community. We now manage the local Community Centre and have a number of groups Environment, Gardening, Social, Coffee shop as well as other interests. One of the areas we look after is what we call the Community Orchard and Kirklees Council support us with this

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is a charity dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring wildlife and wild places in Yorkshire. Our vision is for a Yorkshire that is abundant in wildlife, with more people having a genuine and meaningful connection with nature. We were established as a charity in 1946, and are part of The Wildlife Trusts movement. We look after over 100 nature reserves right across Yorkshire, and are involved in hundreds of other conservation-related projects. Our work inspires people to understand the value of nature and to take action for it.
