We are a voluntary group and we keep the village of Denby tidy. We cut the greens, maintain benches, promote local walks, litter pick etc. We also have a project each year which benefits our community. These have included the preservation of our red telephone box, fitting a defibrillator, erecting a history board, working in partnership with a local natural trust installing information boards at Denby Delf. New notice boards etc.

Don Catchment Rivers Trust has been established to help protect and restore the rivers in the River Don catchment area, this includes not just the River Don but also the River Dearne, River Rother and other rivers such as the Sheaf, Went, Ea Beck and many others. Our rivers are a valuable asset which tell the story of our culture and heritage. They are important for people, wildlife and the local economy, and form an integral part of our landscape. Our mission is to: conserve, protect, rehabilitate and improve the Rivers Don, Dearne and Rother and the associated non-tidal and tidal systems that might influence their fauna, flora, water quality and hydrology.
